Whales can be found around Maratua in certain seasons while dolphins around the island Semama, snow white Charitable, Kakaban, Maratua, and Gosong Muaras. Turtles can be found around Long Island, Derawan, Semama, Charitable and Maratua and Dugong in Long Island and Semama. Another unique species of Manta Ray (Manta birostris) contained in Charitable Island danPigmy Seahorse Semama and Derawan Island.
