One of the most luxurious beach park regions (and expensive) in the world, the French Riviera attracts tourists from all over the world coming to southern France to holiday seasons in places like Nice, Monaco, St Tropez, Cannes and the like. Nice is the fifth largest city in France and, no doubt, is one of the main destinations of the French Riviera. Unfortunately, it was not yet this time I met all major destinations of the Cote d'Azur, but I can say I was very happy with what I saw in Nice and can not wait to go back and explore more of the region.
Departing from Gatwick beach park Airport by EasyJet, we (me and my friend Matt) at Terminal 2 of the international airport of Nice Côte d'Azur. Out of the airport towards the center is super easy because the bus and taxi stops are just outside the door.
We bought tickets on line 98 - which goes to the center - on the outside of the airport counter, beach park but from what we could see, would have to purchased beach park as driver / collector. The price of single stretch was 6.00 / person, and the way to our point - it was on the edge and super close to the center - was approximately 20-30 minutes.
My tip on the shuttle bus is for you to be aware of the names of the points, as if no one stopped to ask the driver passes right. And how can the bus is full (our was), can be tricky to squeeze beach park between people in time to push the button or reach the exit. In most, unfortunately, did not check other transfer alternatives and I owe this, but the busão rolled super quiet.
My trip to Nice was due to a reunion with my friends from Kingston University (where I did my Masters) I have not seen for ages. Then, as the idea was to share with the class, right off the bat we knew we did not want to be cut off in hotel rooms. Solution in this case? Airbnb.
It was not the cheapest option, but has been achieved for the dates on which we could all go. Considering location and structure offered, I think that served us very well, despite the limitation on the two "rooms" (mezzanines). For those who are interested, the link of the apartment beach park is this one: nice apartment (owner is Laetitia and she was well educated with us).
The edge of Nice is all divided between public beaches and private beaches - which are separated by fences and restricted to the beach goers paid clubs. In the public sector is only find a little corner, beach park extend its wake and relax if the stones allow you (after I comment on that). Already in the conversation private beaches is another, because they offer you all the structure and comfort, all at a price, of course. But nothing necessarily exorbitant.
Each club charge beach park according to the structure provided. I checked the price of one and did not think that bad at around 17 / day. Nice Tourism on the site found a list of 15 private beach park beaches, it check and compare prices.
Now, back to the subject of the stones on the beach, I suppose you have heard that the nice beaches are not sand but stone. Yeah, and not those annoying stones entering the shoe, are larger stones and well both uncomfortable to walk and to lie down and sunbathe. So remember to bring your mat to protect your back. But if like me you are traveling with hand luggage only, no need to warm up, you can buy some straw mats that give pro spent and can be found in various shops of the center for as little as 5.00.
Take a horinha of your day to climb the Colline du Chateau (Castle Hill). A 92 m above sea level, the climb is pulled, but the view is worth it. Will you stop at strategic points and make amazing beach park photos of Nice. Upstairs also has a waterfall which adds a charm to the top of the hill, and of course, it is possible beach park to check the ruins of the old castle of Nice.
We climbed the ladder, whose entrance is on the edge, at the end of the street called Quaid es Etats-Unis (you can not lose sight of the hill! Lol). But if they hit leg are not your thing, there is also the option to ride the elevator or the little train tour.
We try to escape the muvuca and drawbacks beach stones from the center of Nice, then, a good last minute research, we found the suggestion of Beaulieu-Sur-Mer beach, which is a region the 25-30 minute bus ride from the center of Nice.
Leaving the bus stop Promenade des Arts, took the bus 81 and got off at the height of the port
