The Wilderness Lodge is one of the resorts mammoth mountain which lies within the Disney complex and is one that is closest to the Magic Kingdom. The theme of it are the hotels that are in the middle of forests in National Parks Americans.
I found it very welcoming, much smaller than the POP Century (where I stayed on my first trip to Disney with the kids). My room had only one bed, but he also has rooms with 2 queen (super accomodating and families with 2 children) and even rooms with bunk beds.
The Wilderness has 2 restaurants, one of them is pretty basic, with sandwiches, salads and combos. Artist Point now has a more upscale menu. I recommend mammoth mountain the salmon C edar Plank-Roasted Salmon (one of the highlights of the menu) which is delicious!
The Wilderness Lodge is one of the few Disney hotels mammoth mountain that has a space for children's activities where she can play, make collages and see little movies. In the hotel there is also for children 3-12 years (paid separately) and baby sitter who can stay in the room with the children while the parents are dining.
