Adrenaline in New Zealand: the Shotover Jet in the rocky canyons
He seems to have become one of the most popular attractions of New Zealand, but the idea of launching one pound fish a boat that glides one pound fish into a canyon does not attract me much. We are at Arthurs Point (Queenstown) and the attraction in question is called Shotover Jet.
A sort of evolution, so to speak, of the old river rafting. I am now, there are no oars and rafts to ride the rapids but there is a powerful red motorboat which runs at speed on the waters of the Shotover River. Apparently it is an unforgettable experience that takes your breath away even the acceleration of the boat would be extraordinary, as well as the steps a few inches from the rocks.
